For months now I have been trying to figure out how my favorite brands have been creating these amazing and professional Instagram stories for their business, until one day I did. I’m gonna share their secret with this quick and easy tutorial. You’ll be ready in no time to create attention-grabbing and professional Instagram stories that will add value to your content in no time!
First things first
I have recently discovered Easil and fell in love. It is a great content creation tool for all your online graphics. I make all my Pins and promotional Instagram stories through Easil. If you’re familiar with Canva you’ll be hooked on Easil. Both platforms are similar, but Easil has a cleaner look, easy to operate and focuses on social media content creation (but you can create anything). The best part is, it’s FREE! Of course, you can upgrade your free account if you want access to more templates and tools.
NOW THAT YOU’RE IN, LETS START
In your screen choose the “Instagram stories” template for a new design
Scroll and choose the template that speaks to you most, I choose the “Christmas” template
Now that you have your chosen template, duplicate the first layer and add 2-3 additional layers. Some templates already have more than one layer so you won’t have to duplicate it. Don’t add a new page, because it gives you a blank page and doesn’t copy the elements from the first page.
Play around and create your ideal Instagram story – Speak to your customers and target audience.
Pexels is a great source from which to find images. Pexels has royalty-free and copyright-free images that you can use. Creative Market is also a great source to find unique graphics and artists. Creative Market has free weekly items you can download, or you can buy other freelancers’ work and support amazing artists.
Once you’re done, press the download button and save it as a GIF. You can choose to save it at any speed, but I would recommend to save it as “slow”.
The next part is to make your GIF Instagram friendly. Instagram does not support GIF files as uploads and requires you to convert the GIF into a video format.
So how do we do it?
Go to Giphy and upload the GIF you just made
Now that you uploaded your GIF, press the Instagram button and email yourself the converted video. Once you open the video on your phone, save it and upload it to Instagram.
And that is all you need to do to create amazing and professional Instagram stories. Now go boost your business and make your customers happy with new attractive visuals and tag me in your latest photo once you post your story! I want to see your creations @creativeboost_
